It has quite an old fashioned slightly clunky feel but some beautiful shots and a good outline of his life story.

This is a story of Milarepa prior to meeting Marpa. My wife and I are trying to watch one film from every country on the planet, at a rate of one film a month and going in alphabetical order of countries.

There is a great spiritual message in his life for all of humanity.When is part two coming out?

Unfortunately the film does not take the story of this great Tibetan saint far enough and it does not show how Milarepa manages to overcome all of his obstacles/ignorance/ negative karma and accomplishes what most people can not accomplish in one lifetime.
