Breakfast superb! On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience.

Given that we would have a car for this portion of the trip, we decided to stay here.

I would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom and novel shower facilities were good, and a separate toilet was a sensible use of space.

We booked a superior room (requesting a quiet room) for September 10 - September 13, 2016 (3 nights). It has a very nice deck on the back to sit, enjoy the moment and have a glass or wine or a beer. Towels are large and fluffy – not often seen in Europe.

We were willing to pay some form of cancellation fee and re-book 4 nights in August at full room cost but instead were informed we are liable for the entire cost of the room for the 4 incorrectly booked nights.

They are more charming properties.

Our room was large and spacious with a large walk in shower.

Unfortunately I inadvertently booked from 23rd July 2019 which was in fact the very same day I made the booking. Only slight niggle water pressure for the shower not very good on second floor. The property is very clean and well kept.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

the lift does as well ( for sound sake which is quite welcome) The small cups are “only for espresso”. This is the small hotel operated from a three stories building that looks like a large mansion. The rooms were nice & comfy, the breakfast was the best we had during our ENTIRE trip, and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

Room spacious & comfy! The location is good, but it would be a quite a long walk into Amboise, so a car is recommended. This is a decent reasonable value hotel located about 4 minutes (by taxi) from the old part of Amboise.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel whilst travelling across France. Good buffet breakfast.

Comfortable bed, room was fine, housekeeping was of a high standard. Rooms We hope to see you again a next time you are the welcome. The Best Western Le Vinci Loire Valley offers rooms with a stylish décor. They also provide a laundry service for €6 per wash and €6 to dry. Very clean.

It is a close 15min walk into town and the hotel provides plenty of free parking. It was a pleasure to have you here ! The castle overlooks town and Da Vinci's home is here. Although we generally try to stay in very central hotels, during the time we were in Amboise, they either were very expensive or did not promise air conditioning.

Dear Mrs & Mr WIGGLESWORTH, This hotel is about 2 miles out of the beautiful town of Amboise.

It is OK for breakfast but a bit utilitarian for dinner. Good A/C, and very clean bathroom. Parking was out front. About a 20 minute walk into the centre, but it's a nice route. One word of warning, the hotel is a 20 min walk into town, which is lovely during the day or in the evening, but make sure you take a torch/flashlight with you for the trip back in the near pitch dark roads at night. Good breakfast and tasty dinner. Beds were very comfortable. It has a nice firm bed that is good in the back and the décor is a bit quirky / purple and DaVinci painting wall paper. The hotel is a mile or two from the city center of Amboise (restaurants and attractions) but an easy drive with free parking by the river. We were told that we would still have to pay for the 3 nights (Euro 375). I doubt our no show had much effect. If your travel dates are flexible you need to adjust your stay dates to book this hotel as the hotel requires more than one night to be booked on the date selected. Great staff. Some folks may wish to be aware that the walk back to the hotel from downtown is mostly uphill, but the grade is not steep. Nice shower, though not terribly large.

Wonderful! She brought me a cup from the kitchen, although she seemed somewhat reluctant. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. Couldn't hang up a dress and couldn't open my suitcase without moving it either.

You had indeed booked the wrong dates but you warned us a few days later and yes the room could not be rented and yes it has an impact on the hotel and its availability. This was a great base for touring the sites. We has breakfast one morning and were charged €13 for a full breakfast when we thought there was a €9 option for continental only. We loved visiting Amboise, but felt the hotel did not warrant the Trip Advisor high rating.
