Although there were windows, you could not open them at night, to cool down the room, due to the smell and noise from nearby restaurants and streets. Breakfast at 10 Euros included pastries, bread, cereal, yoghurt, fruit juice, cheese, ham, coffee, tea so reasonable value for money. We had a room that looked out to a back alley.

The 3-star Hotel Acanthe is situated in Boulogne-Billancourt, a city at the western edge of Paris and is a short distance from Roland Garros tennis stadium, the Longchamp racing course and the Parc des Princes football stadium. My room was comfortable with shelving and hanging space but gather some rooms had less of this. Breakfast was not above average, but good enough, and it was nice to not have to go out looking for a meal in the morning.
